Sunday Serenity: Misty Valley Morning

My sunrise walks are morning meditations. I look across the valley and Mother Nature amazes with her unique palette of colours and light. The moment is embraced and captured and I feel blessed.

With each new day we are given an opportunity to grow into ourselves and be grateful for what makes that possible. The ability to find balance and equanimity even under the most difficult situations can be a constant challenge .

We all have our troubles and during these times everything feels that much more amplified. Some serenity on a Sunday helps me stay grounded and in the flow.

Sunday Serenity: The Warmer Our Hearts

It’s been a year since we became frozen in this other-worldy time, each of us facing our own unique set of challenges within a void of uncertainty. Nevertheless hope, if we keep our hearts open, is always on the horizon and it’s the Sun, that constant life-giving source, that lifts me into that feeling of hope each and every day.

Wherever you are, and whatever your experience through this time, I wish you a heart filled with hope and serenity. I firmly believe that the more at peace we can be with ourselves the greater peace we can bring to the world. It’s not always easy, but it’s certainly worth the effort.

The warmer our hearts, the quicker the thaw.
