Sunday Serenity: Light Magic

~*~

I love to seek out and play with light. Moments such as this delight my soul.

In a world seemingly filled with darkness, seek out the light, be delighted, and share its beauty with those who are ready to receive.

Love in light form. ❤️

Be well … 🙏💫

Sunday Serenity: Mother’s Day

Born of my heart;
A shining beam
Manifest of a sacred dream.
I know your beauty.
You reflect me,
And I you.
And as our hearts sing
What more glorious music could there be
Twixt you and me?

Dedicated to my mother, and all who nurture and manifest from the heart.

Sunday Serenity: Perfect Imperfection

In a society pre-occupied with the “perfect” look (whatever that is) it’s comforting to know that nature is somehow perfect, and supremely beautiful, in its imperfection.

We can be, too.

Sunday Serenity: A Walk in Nature

It’s Thanksgiving weekend in these parts and my loyal collie, Reilly, and I are enjoying short walks in nature. The spectacular colour show is particularly heartwarming this year given the times in which we live.

So we lose ourselves to the wonder of it and give thanks for its beauty. After a virtual plague of caterpillars in the spring that decimated the foliage on many of the trees around here it’s reassuring to see how resilient nature is.

Humanity could learn a thing or two from that.

Happy Thanksgiving … 🍁❤️

Sunday Serenity: Bend with the Wind

Autumn is upon us and change is in the wind.

Whenever I find myself feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of our times I bring my thoughts back to nature. I look at this nearby tree, for instance, and consider what it must have witnessed and the storms it must have weathered over 100 years (+/-) of its existence.

Nature can help us put things in perspective. If we’re paying attention it can teach us lessons of resilience and adaptability. How to flow with the seasons, weather the storms, and bend with the winds of change.

Nature knows how to take care of itself. We, as living beings, are an extension of nature that appears to have lost this knowing. We need to return to the natural world and tune in to its healing frequencies.

It costs nothing but time.

Sunday Serenity: Puddle Ducks

In a chaotic world there is joy to be found in the small things.

Watching a family of ducks enjoying an afternoon swim is a delight to the eye and the heart.

Their puddle; my momentary paradise.
